I wish Id gotten what I paid for

Great idea, and just what we were looking for - almost. It was a Christmas present from Santa. I wanted a smaller, portable ping pong table, because our basement will never be cleaned up enough for a full-size table. However, I'm less than satisfied with the quality of the item. It's too much trouble to send back, but first it looks like they folded it before the surface paint was dry, either that or this item sat someplace very hot, because when we unfolded it, paint was pulled up along the cracksfolds. Yes, this can be sanded, but it looks bad (and this was a present from Santa). The cracksfolds make playing challenging at times if your ball lands there. No instructions for any of the games were included. We looked up directions for backgammon and discovered that not enough pieces were included. As for the paddles, they were wrapped entirely in plastic, then It seemed like we should peel plastic off of the paddle itself to get to the rubber covering. This plastic did not peel off all the way, making me think these too got too hot at some point. (And more than enough plastic!!) We've only used this set in a normal manner for four days, and the rubber padding on the paddles is coming unglued. All this is not enough for me to go to the trouble of sending it back, considering we can use it pretty much in the same way as planned. It fits nicely on top of our pool table and it's great that it can be folded and put away, but I am disappointed in the quality.
