Series Ping Pong Paddles

Best Table Tennis Paddle for spin

If you're looking for the best Ping Pong paddle, there isn’t a simple answer. Table Tennis paddles are designed for many different playing styles across many different price ranges. The “best” Ping Pong paddle is different from person to person, therefore we are going to share our opinion for the best Table Tennis paddle across four different price ranges.

We feel that the Stiga Pro Carbon is the best paddle under $50 dollars. Not only is it one of the top selling paddles in the same price range, It’s ITTF approved for tournament play and was given an excellent performance rating - Speed: 99 Spin: 100 Control: 80. It’s made with 7-plys for extra power or speed and it comes with the S5 rubber and a 2mm sponge. The Stiga Pro Carbon, while low in control, should be a fun paddle to play with no matter your playing level.

However if you are looking to work on your Table Tennis abilities and consider yourself a novice, I would recommend a different paddle with a higher control rating, as this is the most important attribute as you learn to play Table Tennis.

Features & Specifications
  • Performance-Level Table Tennis Racket
  • ITTF Approved Rubber for Tournament Play
  • Features Carbon Technology for Power and Speed
  • Performance Ratings- Speed: 99 Spin: 100 Control: 80
  • 7-Ply Extra Light Blade, S5 Rubber, and 2mm Sponge

While there may not be a significant difference in ability between the paddles under $75 and the paddles under $50, we felt that the Stiga Evolution should be mentioned as it’s a great Ping Pong paddle for any player, both experienced and new. Both the Stiga Pro Carbon and the Stiga Evolution are perfect paddles for any player interested in getting a good Table Tennis paddle under $100. Yes, a professional Ping Pong paddle will easily exceed $100.

The Stiga Evolution was given a performance rating of - speed: 96, spin: 94, control: 90. So although the Stiga Evolution loses a little bit of power and spin, the control on this paddle is far better. I would recommend this paddle if you are looking to control your shots with better placement. Like the Stiga Pro Carbon, this paddle is ITTF approved so you can use it in official tournaments.
