Be sure to buy this ball in a paper box. There are many fake DHS 3star balls on hte internet, they are mostly sold in plastic bags. A very good survivor of long trainings and they are good for competitive play at any level. The top performace of the ball lasts for 5 hours, then it becomes a bit less fast and grippy. Great price/value ratio 3 balls. Official ball for 4 (or 5) olympic games. Actually these balls are lighter then a Nittaku 3 star, but heavier then a common Joola and a Butterfly ball. Heavy spinning balls hit the blade gently. Sound is good. They loose a bit of their grip with time (2-5h of play), but hitting and contact is always identical. This grip loss can be seen on other balls, but those balls rarely last that long, to see their surface become shiny.

DHS 3-star balls are good for the price. but the orange balls are terrible quality, i dont know why. for every 9 balls you buy, there is always 1 or 2 EGGS. The white ones are truer and more consistent, and faster.

Considering they are 3 star standard and ITTF certified, I got a batch of these for a very good price (yellow & white). They looked genuine enough, may be they are off loading in ready for the plastic balls? I use it for my robot so I have to wash them to clean the powder coating off. I found the yellow colouring came off in patches and it still has a powdery matt coating on them. The powder is evident on my rubbers and robot fly wheel. Nittaku IMO to date makes the best TT balls.
